Our test team was bowled over by Hymer’s B-class range of A-class motorhomes, but in particular by the B544.
It’s compact at just 6.5m long, yet inside it boasts one of the best, most sociable layouts we’ve encountered. A massive side sofa faces a huge L-shaped lounge arrangement which, with cab seats swivelled, will seat eight without undue discomfort.
Externally redesigned for the 2011 season, its build quality is superb. After all, Hymer claims that its PUAL (polyurethane aluminium) construction offers the same insulation as the walls of a modern brick-built house.
Brownhills is the sole official UK importer, and stocks a range of new and pre-owned Hymers.
