Step inside a trio of tasty new ‘vans and visit two of the UK’s best campsites with us in our new show on The Motorhome Channel.

First, Practical Motorhome’s own Editor Niall Hampton brings you a review of the new-for-2016 Auto-Trail Imala 730, building on the success of this range which launched the previous season. This model’s star feature is its clever rear island bed, which has a day position and a night position, the former allowing the bed to slide back by 30cm, giving occupants more space in this 7.25m-long ‘van. Moving into the bathroom, it has its own blown air input so you can keep this space nice and toasty, plus it has a separate shower compartment with a drying rail. There’s also a well-equipped kitchen in the Auto-Trail Imala 730 and a comfortable parallel lounge at the front, although a dinette is an option. This is a very well kitted out, entry-level motorhome and all for £47,223 – watch our review and find out more.

To do so, be sure to tune in to our TV show on The Motorhome Channel. It’s on Freeview 254, Sky 261 and Freesat 402. Don’t have these channels? Don’t worry! You can also watch live online. This and all our shows are broadcast 10 times over a two-week period, giving you plenty of opportunities to watch – please scroll to the foot of this page for the complete broadcast schedule.

Tune in to this show and you can join us at Eye Kettleby Lakes, a charming campsite near Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire which features in our Top 100 Sites Guide 2015. Open all year, this is a great campsite for those who are fanatical about fishing as there are seven lakes where you can enjoy your hobby for just a small fee. There’s a 61-pitch touring area which benefits from lovely rural views and also a welcoming clubhouse. Find out more and hear what some of the site’s visitors have to say.

Then Niall’s back with another review. This time he’s taking a look at the six-berth Tribute T-736. And there’s a lot to like about this all-new-for-2016 budget coachbuilt ‘van. The UK-friendly end lounge in this Tribute is a super, sociable space that’s well lit by windows on three sides, and features a TV point and an easy-to-fit table. Come night time, this rear lounge converts into a comfy double bed, plus there’s another double in the dinette and also an overcab double with ladder access. Watch The Motorhome Channel on Sky 261, Freesat 402, Freeview 254 or live online for more on this Fiat Ducato-based ‘van which retails for £42,701 OTR, making it a great-value family motorhome.

The third ‘van we’re looking round in this episode is the Ford Transit-based 2016 Roller Team Zefiro 696, which brings Italian design flair at an affordable price. At least five can dine at the table in the lounge and while the kitchen is compact, it does have a three-burner gas hob, a gas oven and a fridge. The split-level midships washroom is a lovely feature to find in a budget motorhome and the Zefiro 696’s does not disappoint. There’s a swivel toilet, a basin and storage on one side, and a separate shower compartment with a bi-fold door on the other. You’ll also want to check out the rear island bed and the electrically-operated dropdown double at the front, not to mention the large, heated rear garage, so be sure to tune in.

Finally, it’s time to visit another campsite from our Top 100 Sites Guide 2015. Located in the Peak District, Clover Fields is an adults-only touring park. Facilities include a washblock, a shop, a motorhome service point, a cafe, 15 fully serviced touring pitches and 25 standard pitches with 16A electric hook-up. Family-run and dog-friendly, find out why recent visitors enjoyed their stay.

And that’s it for another show! So be sure to tune in between Monday 23 November and Sunday 6 December 2015 on The Motorhome Channel on Sky 261, Freesat 402 or Freeview 254, or watch live online. This episode will be shown at these times, on these days:
