Rapido has revealed that it will be launching a three-model compact range of low-profile motorhomes for the 2021 season.
News of the new C series, which are all just 2.17m wide, has been released ahead of the French manufacturer’s season launch, which takes place next week.
The three models are all three berths with four travel seats, based on a Fiat Ducato.
They all include a skyview sunroof as standard, which is heated by a vent connected to the Truma heating system.
The longest van in the range, the 6.99m long C86, includes an island bed in the rear, a washroom and separate shower cabinet in the centre of the van, a central kitchen with a 133-litre fridge, and a front lounge with parallel settees that can be made into a bed.
The 6.72m-long C55, meanwhile, includes two raised single beds over a garage at the back and wardrobes at the foot of each bed. The two beds can be made into a double. The washroom sits opposite the central kitchen and includes a swinging partition that allows it to become a shower cubicle. The L-shaped front dinette can be made into an occasional bed.
The C56 may be the shortest van in the range at 5.99m, but it includes the longest bed – a 2.04m-long French bed next to a corner washroom with a toilet behind the shower area. Its central kitchen area includes a pull out column of basket shelves, while, like the C55, its L-shaped front dinette can be made into an occasional bed.
All three models feature a table in the front dinette that can be folded to allow for greater ease of movement.
