Here at Practical Motorhome, we’re looking to beat the January blues by going to EventCity Manchester for the 2015 Caravan and Motorhome Show. Just two weeks into the new year, it’s time to view all the latest motorhomes, holiday offers, touring kit and camping accessories all under one roof.
And, don’t forget, several of our handy, affordable Nightstops are nearby, so when you visit Manchester, you don’t have to splash the cash – although you might be sorely tempted once you step inside the show.
And what a show it’s shaping up to be. It takes place between 15 and 18 January 2015. Two-time BAFTA Award-winning TV and radio presenter Matt Baker will be officially opening the show on 15 January and you’ll have the chance to meet him in person on The Caravan Club stand.
Whether you’ve never driven a motorhome before and you’re looking to get into motorcaravanning in 2015, or you simply want to brush up on your skills, then The Caravan Club will once again be hosting its popular motorhome manoeuvring sessions. Get behind the wheel of a new motorhome for expert one-to-one tuition – all for free! Book your place on the day at The Caravan Club stand.
And speaking of Bailey, the Bristol giant is using the Manchester show to debut its latest Approach Advance range of smaller and cheaper motorhomes. Until now, only the press has seen this impressive new line-up, but these ‘vans will be on show in Manchester for you to see for yourself, making the Bailey stand an essential stopping point as you make your way around the show.
Naturally, all the latest, new motorhomes for sale from other manufacturers will be on show for you to see, including Swift Group, Elddis, Lunar and Auto-Trail, together with Continental giants Bürstner, Chausson, Adria and many, many more. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to see all you want to.
Of course, a motorhome is just the start of your adventures: if you’re looking for inspiration about where to go on your next big adventure, then the Caravan and Motorhome Show is the place to be. Swift’s new Great Days Out exhibition is a super place to start – check out for yourself such top attractions as the Football Museum, Windermere Lake Cruises, The World Of Beatrix Potter, the Ribble Valley, Wychwood Brewery, the Lakeside and Haverwaithe Railway and many more!
Don’t miss Practical Motorhome’s annual Owner Satisfaction Awards, which we’ll be hosting on the Food and Travel Stage at noon on 15 January. It’s essential viewing, since the results come from you, our readers – everyone is welcome!
And last but by no means least, you must visit our stand – the Caravan Sitefinder Rest-Stop, powered by us at Practical Motorhome, together with our sister brand Practical Caravan.
So, make sure you book your tickets and kickstart your 2015 touring. It’s a great day out for all the family, whether you’re watching celebrity chefs strutting their stuff live or browsing Towsure’s colossal accessory superstore. Book online to save £1.50 on the adult door price – and children under 16 go free.
We’ll see you there!
