[tl:gallery index=0 size=113×139]Liz Paterson is art editor of Practical Motorhome. She’s the one who designs the magazine and chooses which pictures we publish. She has toured all over the UK and mainland Europe in motorhomes down the years, overseeing our photoshoots. This is her new blog series ‘Picture of the Week,’ in which she selects a striking image from our picture library archive.

Why tour here?

Sarah Wakely said:

“The premise was simple: I was going to take a motorhome along the route of the Venice-Simplon Orient Express, from London’s Victoria Station to Venice. During the trip I’d stick as closely as possible to the most traditional route the train takes, so I’d be visiting Paris, Innsbrück and Verona before finally rolling into Venice.

“This fantastic view is from the road between Trento and Bolzano, on the border between Austria and Italy, on the approach to Venice.”
