If getting bogged down on a muddy pitch prevents you from camping off the beaten track, then the Jeep ActionCamper might be just what you need.
This two-berth camper is based on a four-wheel drive Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and, thanks to its fibreglass construction, the detachable living area only adds 200kg to the original vehicle weight.

Despite the comparatively limited space, there’s room inside for a king-size bed, three-burner stove with combined sink, toilet and optional shower area. There’s also plenty of interior storage, plus a 40-litre fridge.
Words hardly do the ActionCamper justice, but there’s an extensive photo gallery over at the manufacturer’s site that’s worth a look, if only to see how so much has been crammed in to so little space.
Oh, and the bad news? Prices for the Jeep ActionCamper start at €39,600 (around £33,000).
