We’re back with a brand new programme on The Motorhome Channel, with new and used ‘vans and expert advice, to inspire and help you get the most from your next tour. Be sure to tune in on Freesat 402 or Sky 192, or watch live online.

The HymerCar Sierra Nevada motorhome kicks off this TV show. Practical Motorhome’s Group Editor Alastair Clements is here to review this two-berth panel van conversion, based on the latest long-wheelbase Fiat Ducato, which in this case means there’s a powerful 150bhp, 2.3-litre, turbodiesel engine under the bonnet. Four can be accommodated in the dining area, plus there’s a compact but very usable washroom with a space-saving sliding door. There’s also a stylishly finished kitchen which has a two-burner gas hob but, sadly, no grill or oven. At least there’s a good sized fridge/freezer so you ensure your drinks are at the temperature you like them, while there’s a large double bed at the rear with a lovely, thick mattress. Get inside this new Hymer motorhome and discover its many neat touches and excellent storage options, only in our TV show.

Then our Editor, Niall Hampton, is looking at motorcaravanning accessories that will help you get the most from your tour. He has three cool boxes on test: the 26-litre Igloo Island Breeze, the 22-litre Waeco Cool-Ice and the 25-litre Icey-Tek Cube Box. Tune in to The Motorhome Channel on Sky 192, on Freesat 402 or watch live online to see his review.

Next, used motorhomes for sale fall under our spotlight as John Wickersham takes a look around a secondhand A-class ‘van. This 2008 Pilote CityVan now costs £30,000. If this sounds like your kind of motorhome, watch our TV show as John highlights key things to check and be aware of when buying a pre-owned model. Inside, as you might expect from a European brand, the kitchen has a three-burner hob, a fridge and not very much worktop space, however the washroom is impressive and there’s a generously-sized lounge that could accommodate eight.

We also visit France in our latest TV show, as Practical Motorhome’s Claudia Dowell tours in and around Nantes. She takes in the castle and cathedral, discovers an architecturally beautiful shopping mall with a rather too tempting chocolate shop and much more. Tune in and let Claudia be your guide and inspire you to visit this corner of France on your next holiday – you won’t want to miss the massive and very impressive mechanical elephant of Nantes!

John Wickersham then returns with expert motorhome cleaning advice for owners of ‘vans of all shapes and sizes. He shares industry tips to help you clean and protect your beloved motorhome without breaking the bank – it’s must-see TV for all owners.
