More about the Nightstops Scheme
The Nightstop Scheme is run by Practical Motorhome in conjunction with the Motor Caravanners’ Club (MCC), and the sites are certificated locations (CLs); you don’t have to join any club to use them.
This means that you are legally allowed to stay at the Nightstops overnight; without this CL certificate, you would be unable to do so. Your host will be able to inform you as to the facilities offered at this location. As with all campsites, please do not abuse these facilities, and only empty grey and black water if you are allowed to do so.
How to become a Nightstop
If you have a spare patch of land or a large car park and would welcome motorhome owners overnight, or if you think your local pub or might like to join our scheme, please email us for more information and an application form: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Motor Caravanners’ Club
There are just 35 Nightstops in our scheme. However, the MCC also has a much larger network of its own CL campsites, which generally have more facilities, but you’ll need to join the club to use their full list of CL campsites. The MCC website has more details of the club.
