Campervan converter Campaway has come to the February Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show with the Campaway Casa, a brand new end washroom pop-top model finished only earlier this month.
Based on a VW T6.1, the Campaway Casa includes a combined oven and grill and worktop towards the back of the van on the side.
But, unusually for a campervan with an end kitchen, it has a pop-top roof that rises up at the front. That creates plenty of headroom for the front lounge, complete with a small side settee and a third travel seat.
Such an arrangement is partly possible because the single burner hob and small integrated sink is up front just behind the driver’s seat.
The rear travel seat can be folded forward to match up with the passenger seat to create a third bed that is nearly 7ft long. The side settee also comes with a slatted platform that can be pulled out to create a small child’s bed.
The rear nearside corner of the van includes a partitioned off circular cassette loo with a shelf for toilet rolls and a separate rack for towels.
A detachable plastic shower head is stored in its own pouch in the tailgate door.
Optional extras, as shown on the model on display at the show, include leather upholstery and alloy wheels.
The model on display costs £71,995 OTR. Campaway is sold exclusively through Broad Lane Leisure.
