More than 26,000 advanced tickets have been sold for the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show at the NEC in February so far, highlighting the strong consumer demand for the return of the event.

In fact, the organisers of the show, NCC Events, have said this is ten times the amount that have been seen at the same point in past years.

The February show will be spread over five halls, with visitors able to find out about the latest releases from the best motorhome manufacturers, ranging from Adria and Carthago to Knaus and Roller Team.

The show will also meet the growing demand for campervans by featuring 50% more of the models than in previous years, with brands such as Bilbo’s and Malibu all making an appearance.

As well as this, there will be a range of activities for visitors to participate in for free, including a custom built indoor pool, where people can try paddleboarding and kayaking.

John Lally, CEO of NCC Events said: “The strong ticket sales are a clear indication of pent-up demand – we know that not only are there a lot of new buyers coming into the industry, but many of the core market of caravanners have held off upgrading their outfits.”

“Interest in leisure vehicles is such that Channel 5 have chosen to focus on the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show, as part of their new year programming, with filming taking place during the show and aired “live” during the event to an anticipated 1.5 million viewers. It’s great publicity for our exhibitors – interest in the industry has never been so high!”

“This will be the first major leisure vehicle exhibition in the UK for two years and we know that many will have missed the opportunity to step inside the latest models, compare the different layouts and specifications and talk face-to-face with others who share their love of the touring lifestyle.”

“We are delighted that so many manufacturers across product categories are using the show as a platform to launch new models and utilising the event to present their brand to an audience that has boomed with many newcomers.”

There will be an excellent range of well-equipped holiday homes, lodges and tents on offer too. There really is no better place to see what’s on, choose a perfect vehicle and chat to a friendly face who can reassure, offer advice and demonstrate features on their chosen products.”
