Halloween at the York Dungeon

There are two events on this Halloween at the York Dungeon. The first is Hex the Dungeon, which allows you to journey through the depths of the Dungeon – just be sure to watch out for Isabella Billington’s Hex along the way. The second is the Halloween Trick & Treat Walking Tour, where you will be led around the city to learn about the spooky history of York.

Newstead Abbey Family Ghost Walk

Another family-friendly option, this time you will get to wander around the Newstead Abbey grounds, encountering friendly witches along the way who will provide you with the tales of the more famous ghosts to reside in the area.

Suitable for those aged 16+, you’ll certainly get into the spirit of Halloween at Battle Abbey. The ghost tour is marketed as not being ‘for the faint hearted’, so brace yourself, as you listen to supernatural stories and hear about sightings at the scene of the Battle of Hastings.

There are three different options available here, so you can choose the one that suits you best. During the daytime, there is a child friendly option, while at night there is a 10-14+ year olds event and another for 14+ years.
