Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld says it plans to install ozone generators in all of its stock motorhomes and all motorhomes being collected after a sale or service when it reopens.

Although the Stafford-based dealer has yet to announce when it will be reopening, it has already been using the generators, which are designed to dispel odours and may also help in fighting the spread of germs and viruses, for many years when preparing motorhomes for despatch, and it now plans to extend their use.

The company will also give its premises a full deep clean before reopening, and all sold motorhomes will be deep cleaned before they are sent off. And it will encourage social distancing by installing one-way systems around its display and putting in perspex screens in face-to-face areas.

Managing director Ross Edwards said: “The ozone machines are a massive bonus for us to sanitise each vehicle before reopening. We want our staff and customers to know that we are enforcing all measures to keep them safe.”
