Dave Williams appointed managing director of Choose Leisure

Dave Williams is the new managing director of Choose Leisure, in Canterbury, Kent.

He counts stints at several motorhome manufacturers, most recently, Auto-Sleepers, where he was sales and marketing director. He has also previously worked at Swift and Bailey as part of a long career in the motorhome industry. His move comes exactly 10 years after Choose Leisure was given the Auto-Sleepers franchise.

Dave’s arrival at Choose Leisure has allowed founders, Paul and Jenny Santos, to step back from the day-to-day running of the business. Paul moves to the role of chairman, while Dominic Price, previously general manager, has been made sales director.

Commenting on his appointment, Dave Williams said: “When we appointed Choose Leisure (with the Auto-Sleepers franchise) 10 years ago, little did I know that what lay ahead would lead to me joining them as MD after 11 great years with Auto-Sleepers! I’m over the moon to be leading their incredible team.”

Around a decade later, his first driving experience was taking the family campervan across a field on his uncle’s farm.
