Congratulations to Bentley Motorhomes, whose Renault Trafic-based Indigo was announced overall winner in the Caravan Club’s Annual motorhome Design & Drive competition for 2011.
Practical Motorhome’s Nick Harding and Gentleman Jack Bancroft were among the judging team that decided the Indigo stood out among the 52 motorhomes entered into the competition.
Bentley’s Renault-based low-profile two-berth also won its category (Coachbuilts, £43,000-£54,000). It’s an amazing achievement for a company that only came into existence last year, although, as we reported on this site, its foundations are the extensive experience of father and son team Gordon and Richard Bentley, formerly of Autocruise and Cockburn Holdsworth.
