We’ve two very different compact British ’vans for you in this episode – so sit back, get comfy and enjoy Practical Motorhome TV.

First to feature, it is Berkshire-based Auto Campers. Our Editor Niall Hampton reviews the VW T6-based Multi Recreational Vehicle, or MRV.

It’s a pop-top and Auto Campers has lowered the suspension, meaning it’s under 2m tall and handy for car parks. You can also spec it with an automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive, plus it is available on the Ford Transit.

We love that there are sliding doors on both sides of this VW camper van and that it’s perfect as a daily driver as well as your ticket to weekend getaways! Prices start at £47,500 – check it out in this week’s show.

Here’s when to tune in:

  • Monday 20 March at 8.30pm;
  • Wednesday 22 March at 6.30pm;
  • Friday 24 March at 4.30pm;
  • Saturday 25 March at 6.30pm;
  • Sunday 26 March at 6.30pm.

Practical Motorhome TV is on Sky 212 and Freesat 161 – look for Showcase TV – or you can watch via our live stream – a single, one-off charge of £2.99 applies for the latter.

What’s next?

We’ve advice from our technical guru Diamond Dave. In this week’s episode he’s talking chassis servicing, which encompasses the engine, gearbox, battery and more.

He explains why annual servicing is crucial and takes us through what must be checked, to ensure your motorhome is in good working order, ready for your next holiday.

And stay tuned as this is followed by our second motorhome review of this show – it’s the Bailey Autograph 68-2. Riding on the Peugeot Boxer and new for the 2017 touring season, it has a 3500kg MTPLM and is 6.79m long.

There’s a generous U-shaped rear lounge which converts into a massive double bed, and a compact but clever kitchen that shouldn’t leave you wanting much.

Bailey has also made good use of the space available in its washroom, as you can see this week, only on Practical Motorhome TV.

Pack your bags!

Last but not least, join us as we visit Cheshire, to check out the caravan park at Church Minshull Aqueduct Marina, near Nantwich.

Enjoy views of the canal and marina from this 100-acre site set in farmland, keep connected with Wi-Fi, head to the on-site café that’s open seven days a week – and more!

Watch on Sky 212, Freesat 161 or live online.
