Scouting round the show

First in this episode it’s our Auto-Trail Frontier Scout review. Sat around the table in the front lounge, you can enjoy views out the large picture window.

Alongside is a thoughtfully-detailed side kitchen which features pull-out racking and a sink with an integrated drainer, plus the fridge is usefully set at waist height and it has a slide-out freezer beneath.

But surely this motorhome is all about its triple-aspect end lounge? Comfortable, spacious and flooded with light, it is this ’van’s star attraction.

It also converts into a huge double bed – and you can add an overcab double bed (as in the featured ’van) as an option. This show model costs just over £70,000.

Tune in this week to Practical Motorhome TV to see all this and the Auto-Trail’s midships washroom.

A-class act

Then it’s time for an A-class with the Frankia F-Line I 640 SD – and we don’t think its front lounge will disappoint, it’s huge!

This two-berth has an electrically-operated dropdown bed, while its compact kitchen is clever with its use of space. It’s also a ’van built with British buyers in mind, as it has a dual-fuel hob and a separate oven and grill.

The end washroom oozes style and sophistication, so make sure you watch Practical Motorhome TV to see it for yourself.

Compact touring solutions

Be sure to return after the break to see this Globecar Campscout Revolution, a fetching dark red panel van conversion that sleeps four and even has an electrically-operated dropdown double bed.

There’s also a walk-through washroom and a side kitchen, both of which make great use of the limited available space. See its flexible lounge and its four belted travel seats – prices start at £47,995.

And next in this jam-packed episode of Practical Motorhome TV, it’s the Elddis Accordo 120. This affordable, two-berth, rear-lounge ’van is well worth a look if you tour as a couple.

Come day or night, the good-sized end-lounge is bright, and it’s easy to convert into a double. The kitchen is small but shouldn’t leave you wanting, and the multi-function washroom is smart, too, despite its diminutive dimensions. All this and it starts at under £40,000 – don’t miss our review.

Have it your own way!

Last but by no means least, let’s check out the Autocruise Select 184, part of the Swift Group’s revamped-for-2017 panel van conversion range.

This is a twin-lounge motorhome, with a camper van-style kitchen that comes with a great amount of worktop space.

Check out this and all the other ’vans in our NEC show special on Practical Motorhome TV between 13 and 19 March 2017, on Sky 212, Freesat 161 and live online.
