We hope you’re able to tune in and watch the latest episode of our Motorhome Channel TV show, broadcast on Sky 192 and Freesat 402, and also shown online.

Practical Motorhome’s Test Editor Mike Le Caplain kicks things off with a review of the Ford Transit based Chausson Flash 610. It’s pretty car like to drive which will please many – and with 155bhp, it’s not short of go, either. Outside you can gain access to a huge rear garage via any one of three doors, and as well as having a grippy floor, there are also power outlets in the garage. Inside, there’s a good sized L-shaped lounge, upholstered in a smart, faux leather fabric, well lit by the panoramic roof light, while there’s a stylish and well equipped kitchen, even if food preparation space is lacking. On the plus side, the kitchen has lots of storage and a three-burner gas hob. The lounge converts into a modest double bed that we feel will be for occasional use only. The well proportioned master bed drops down at the touch of a button and we’re pleased to see LED reading lights. Finally, there’s a huge end washroom, featuring a colossal wardrobe and other storage options, as well as a toilet, a basin and a fully lined shower. Be sure to tune in to find out why we think this ‘van represents excellent value for money.

Then it’s time for some expert motorhome advice from John Wickersham, who’s talking about electric cables and the different types of cables you’ll encounter in your ‘van. He shows us what cables should be used for which applications and how to tell different types of cable from each other. Get the knowledge only with us on The Motorhome Channel, online and on Sky 192 and Freesat 402.

After the break, our Editor Niall Hampton is here reviewing accessories. We all know that having the right camping equipment can help you make the best of your holidays, so Niall has a trio of folding chairs to test: the Promech Paddock Chair, the award-winning Outwell Spring Hills chair and the Helinox Chair One.

Next, we’re looking at used motorhomes for sale on a £20,000 budget with John Wickersham. Do you go for a van conversion or a coachbuilt? Here, John’s looking at a spacious coachbuilt. This 2003 Hymer C 544K has generous headroom and sleeping accommodation, and tonnes of storage, with more storage in the kitchen, as well as a three-burner gas hob. Find out what else this used ‘van has to offer by tuning in to our TV show.

Finally it’s back with Mike as he rounds up his motorhome tour of the Isle of Thanet in Kent, in the south east of England. He pitched his Auto-Sleeper Wave at Two Chimneys Holiday Park in Birchington-on-Sea, which features a mix of touring pitches, both grass and fully serviced hardstanding, and static caravans, in a landscaped setting. Facilities are great, including a laundrette, good wash blocks, a chemical disposal point, a bar and restaurant, a shop, an arcade, Wi-Fi (charges apply), three children’s play areas, two heated swimming pools and even a crazy golf course. It’s a family friendly site, however pets aren’t welcome. See all this for yourself in our TV show.
