Practical Motorhome’s Editor Niall Hampton kicks off our latest TV show on The Motorhome Channel, in association with Motorhome Depot. He’s reviewing a dealer special from Marquis Motorhomes, a Swift Lifestyle, which is based on the best-selling Swift Escape. This is the 664 model, a four-berth, low profile, coachbuilt motorhome, with a spacious corner washroom which is, ideal for touring couples who have occasional guests.

Then we’re with Andy Harris talking bespoke ‘vans, and he’s in conversation with Alan, a motorhome owner who has modified his Bürstner T 625 Harmony. He’s added and improved the motorhome’s storage, perfecting the options in his home from home. Take a look at his expert handiwork in our latest TV show, broadcast only on The Motorhome Channel.

Next, we join Practical Motorhome’s Features Editor Clare Kelly on tour in the Wye Valley, where there’s a breathtaking vista seemingly around every corner. She’s in the Swift Lifestyle 664 Marquis dealer special Niall reviewed earlier and has pitched the ‘van at The Camping and Caravanning Club’s Blackmore campsite. Clare explores the nearby and motorhome friendly Upton-upon-Severn, before jumping on a boat for a gentle journey to Tewkesbury, where she visits the abbey and learns more about its long history.

Back at the site, Clare shows us round Blackmore’s spotlessly clean amenities block, its laundry room and the huge games room, ideal for keeping everyone entertained on rainy days. You’ll find a mix of hardstanding and grass pitches here, with smooth, Tarmaced access roads running throughout the park. It’s a dog friendly and family friendly campsite, filled with trees for a lovely, secluded feeling. There’s even an on site fish and chip shop several days a week, or why not walk to the local pub to enjoy a meal and a drink.

We’ve a second motorhome review in this episode of our TV show, as Practical Motorhome’s Stacie Pardoe looks at the Mercedes-Benz based Lunar Landstar RL. It’s a two-berth panel van conversion priced at £49,995, with a comfortable cab and a host of safety features, as you’d expect from Mercedes-Benz. She’s impressed by the kitchen, the well lit rear lounge and the bed – tune in to our TV show on Freesat 402, on Sky 192 and live online to see her review in full.

Do that and you can also benefit from expert advice, courtesy of John Wickersham. He’s here to talk about leisure batteries, with plenty of useful tips, in depth knowledge and advice – there is plenty for beginners and long term motorcaravanners alike.

You’ll be able to watch The Motorhome Channel on your computer live online at the times given, or if you have a satellite dish in your motorhome or at home, tune in to Freesat 402 or Sky 192 at the following times between 29 September and 12 October, 2014.
