ADRIA'S REPUTATION FOR building innovative and keenly priced motorhomes continues with the 2014 range, which has a wide variety of layouts and specifications.

Adria's Twin van conversion range comprises four different models, with one new layout, the 640 SPX.

The Ducato-based models are now available in two different lengths and three colours; white, silver or grey.

You can take your pick from silver, grey or white 'vans, as well as it being available in two different lengths. Ducato-based models are popular, and so this 'van is likely to be reliable and easy to maintain.

If the Adria Twin is this popular, why change it?

The Twin GT 600 SP goes largely unchanged, with the classic transverse rear-bed and a half dinette up front. This layout was pioneered by Adria and has since been much copied, proving popular in the UK market.

The 600 SF continues to offer a lengthways double bed and corner washroom. Whilst the 640 SLX has twin single beds.

All-new Twin layout

The 640 SPX has a transverse full-size double bed with a central walk-through washroom and an L-shaped lounge up front. We've only seen this layout once or twice, but the hinged transverse bed gives good storage which is easy to access.

General 2

The rear transverse bed folds out of the way so that the storage can be easily accessed.

This model's extra size makes it feel more spacious and luxurious. The front half-dinette offers sculpted backrests, so you can dine in comfort.

General 3

The half dinette has increased comfort.

There is also an added mosquito net for the sliding entrance door on both 640 models.

There's a proper third bed in this model, thanks to design improvements. It's been created by adding a shaped piece of wood between the passenger seat, the kitchen unit and the dropped down table. The table supports the bed. A shaped cushion plus the sofa cushions complete the bed set-up. When not in use, this third bed platform fits to the underside of the main bed base. It's still an ideal van conversion for a couple - but now a third adult could sleep on board.
