Midlands-based Kimberley Caravans is to open a new branch in Darlington, after purchasing a former Discover Leisure site and retail premises.

Discover went into administration in October 2011; its Darlington branch was one of five locations to close. Kimberley is planning to reopen the seven-acre site, which is located close to junction 58 of the A1, on February 23.

The expansion represents the first multi-site venture for the family-run Kimberley business, which currently has a two-acre site in Nottingham. The company currently sells used motorhomes from this base.

You can contact Kimberley to find out more about the move by visiting its website, or by calling 0115 938 2401.
