Trade magazine Caravan Industry has declared the Wellhouse Leisure Hyundai i800 camper its Motorcaravan of the Year, here at the Motorhome and Caravan Show.

Fans of Practical Motorhome will recall we named it Best Elevating Roof Camper in our Motorhome of the Year 2011 Awards recently.

Bailey also achieved success, claiming three awards for its newly launched Bailey Motorhomes.

They were the Whale Award for Innovation (which went to Bailey for the Approach SE models for their Alu-Tech bodyshell); the Towergate Bakers Award for advances and innovation in safety and security (which went to Bailey for the Approach SE 760, after its crash simulation testing which led to changes in the design of the floor and furniture to improve passenger safety in the rear travel seats); and the BCA Powerpoint Electrical Awards, which was awarded to the Approach SE 740.

The Swift Bolero 630EW was awarded Thetford Washroom of the Year, while the Dometic Kitchen Award went to Murvi for its Morocco.

Also, Bailey MD Nick Howard took the title of Caravan Industry Personality of the Year, while the Brownhills stand won the Show Stand Award for the best display of motor caravans.
