This incredible play area has just been opened at Elie Holiday Park in Fife, to reflect the area’s seafaring connections.

The Robinson Crusoe Adventure Park honours former local sailor Alexander Selkirk, whose nautical experiences provided inspiration for Daniel Defoe’s famous book. The play sailing ship is a one-off, specially commissioned for the park.

Elie Holiday Park is situated beside the Fife Coastal Path, at Shell Bay; it makes a great base for those who love nature, cycling or walking. All touring pitches, whether hardstanding or grass, have electric hook-up; they’re available until the end of October this year.
