The latest Nightstop to join our scheme is the Black Horse Inn, a charming village pub with bed and breakfast accommodation and, now, 5 hardstanding pitches for motorhomes to stop for the night.

It’s in the small village of Kirkby Fleetham, in North Yorkshire, and is an ideal spot for anyone wanting to explore the area. It’s a 20 minute drive from Northallerton, where there are plenty of shops and eateries. Nearby you can go walking to your heart’s content in the North Yorkshire Moors, or head south west to Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The pretty market towns of Richmond, Masham, Thirsk and Ripon are also worth a visit.

This latest addition to the Nightstop scheme that we run in conjunction with The Motorcaravanners’ Club means that you have even more choice as to where to pitch up while on your travels.

The scheme is great for those wanting to travel on a budget or avoid larger campsites, with a selection of pubs, hotels, farms and businesses that provide a spot to park your motorhome for the night, with varying facilities.

This particular stop provides a fresh water tap, rubbish bins, 5 hard standings, toilet facilities, a washroom, and a disabled toilet. It is also dog friendly, so you don’t need to leave your canine best friend at home.

To stay here costs £20 per night, which is redeemable against food and drink in the pub. So what are you waiting for? It’s time for a trip to Yorkshire!
