Enter our competition and you could win a Raleigh folding electric bike worth £1100 – the perfect new accessory for your motorhome holidays. Good luck!

We love the freedom of the open road that motorcaravanning provides. And if you win this amazing prize you can enjoy that with the wind in your hair and the sun on your face!

Here at Practical Motorhome, we have joined forces with iconic bicycle brand Raleigh to give you the opportunity to win a folding electric bike, worth £1100!

With the new-for-2017 Raleigh Stow-e-Way, the manufacturer claims you get a proper folding bike and a proper e-bike in one.

The bike's aluminium alloy frame contributes to its low 20kg weight. That might sound a lot and, of course, you will have to consider your ’van's payload, but it makes it very portable.

And the frame, handlebar and pedals all fold away, to make the bike a convenient 88 x 80 x 44cm, so it shouldn't be too difficult to stow in your motorhome or camper van.

It’s certainly a much smaller, lighter and cheaper alternative to towing a car behind your ’van!

Pain-free pedalling

Of course, being not just a folding bike but also a folding electric bike, means our lucky winner can cycle off into the sunset without breaking a sweat!

The small yet powerful rear-wheel electric motor (a Tranz-X R15) has 45Nm and four support levels, so you can cycle as hard or as gently as you like.

The motor can take you to speeds of up to 15mph, and has a battery range of up to 31 miles, although this depends on the terrain and the set level of assistance.

Want to give your legs a workout? You have eight gears at your disposal. And it is good to know that the 20-inch wheels have reflective strips, so you'll be seen at night.

When you run out of juice, the 260wh battery can easily be removed for charging away from the bike.

This clever bike also features handlebar-mounted power controls for the battery so you can select the required power level, mudguards, a kickstand and a rear pannier rack.

If you'd like to be in with a chance of winning this Raleigh Stow-e-Way folding electric bike, please just complete the form below by 11.59pm on 26 July 2017. Good luck!
