If you’re looking for an apt gift for a caravan or motorhome enthusiast, here are a couple of books that might fit the bill.

My Cool Caravan and its follow-up My Cool Campervan by Jane Field-Lewis and Chris Haddon are a celebration of camping culture with a retro twist.

Each book is a photographic exploration of the current popularity of caravans and campervans, and contains lots of photos of some lovingly restored vehicles from around the world, along with interviews with their owners.

Both My Cool Caravan and My Cool Campervan are available from Amazon for £9.89 and £10.29, respectively. You can also read a long interview with the authors at the Inspired Camping site, and learn more about their latest books — My Cool Classic Car and, perhaps aimed at less itinerant types, My Cool Shed.
