Regardless, we present this vintage slice of car manufacturer advertising from the early 1970s because it’s for the ‘new’ 1973 Type 2 with automatic transmission. It also shows that VW was fond of using humour to sell its vehicles even back then — however suspect it may seem by modern standards…
