Home comforts are obviously on people's minds here at the NEC Motorhome and Caravan Show (October 11-16 2011), as we enter the show's final two days. Sales of accessories appear to be booming, as people snap up bargain TVs, satellite dishes, communications gadgets, security devices, sat-navs, memory foam pillows and mattresses and 'show deals' on fitted sheets and duvets for even the most awkwardly shaped motorhome beds.

Outdoor clothing, for winter trips, is also selling well, along with gel hand-warmers, neck warmers and gadgets for the motorhome kitchen. Cleaning products are also cleaning up – thanks to entertaining sales patter and great show bargains. There are also products to protect your 'van's paintwork from winter damage.

So, even if you're only window-shopping for a new 'van this year, the show has plenty of bargains and curios to offer.
