Here’s a lovely little video love letter to the VW Type 2 Camper van that more or less defined the idea of a motorhome for a few decades in many countries.

The four-minute film is a profile of classic vehicle restorer Craig Johnson and his passion for Volkswagen vehicles — it also briefly covers his original, and beautifully resorted Beetle.

There’s next to no detail about the Camper or the restoration process, and the van in question isn’t used for camping. It does, however, look incredible and the footage is so lovingly shot that we think all motorhome owners will get at least a small thrill from watching it.
