You may not be able to afford — or even want — the real thing, but this VW Camper Van tent should let you (oh, alright, the “kids”) experience the thrill of sleeping in a classic piece of motorhome design.

General 2Yes, it’s a tent that’s a 1:1 replica of the 1965 VW Camper — the outside of it, anyway. It sleeps four in what looks like relatively cosy comfort and has a fabric construction with a separate outer shell that has 3000mm waterproofing on the sides and 1000mm on the top.

The VW Camper Van Tent is available in red, blue and yellow and can be yours for just £300. The bad news is that Firebox.com won’t have any in stock until August, which is just in time for the onset of autumn…
