Now in his eighth decade as a motorcaravanner, Jack is often called an ‘expert’, though he prefers the description ‘experienced’. Jack has written for Practical Motorhome since its inception and advised on everything motorcaravanning, including new and pre-owned vehicles, live-in tests, DIY projects up to complete conversions, owner satisfaction surveys, sites, services, and nostalgia. He is currently enjoying using his thirteenth commercial coachbuilt, has also undertaken five panel van conversions, and is the custodian of a Practical Motorhome DIY ‘starter `van’.
