The panel, which is designed to provide more length internally without increasing the overall length of the motorhome, will now be included L!VE I, Sky Ti Platinum ranges and a new Van Ti MAN Vansation model, among those ranges which are sold in the UK.

Sky Ti Platinum- 700MEG

Within Sky Ti the new rear panel has allowed the layout of the 650 MEG to be improved with an extra wardrobe and more seating around the table. The 650MF, 700MEG and 700MX have all been introduced as new models.

The inclusion of the rear panel in the L!VE I range means the gas bottles can  now be accommodated side by side for easier access. L!VE I models also now feature an external shower as an option, as well as cab seats that match the upholstery of the lounge.

Having already introduced the MAN chassis to the Van Ti Plus compact range, this season Knaus is also introducing it on standard Van Ti Vansation with a new model, the 640 MEG Vansation. At 6.89m, it is 10cm shorter than the continuing Van Ti Plus 650 MEG, but just as large inside thanks to the FoldXpand panel, with 2m-long single beds and a large lounge arranged at an angle. The new model comes with Alde heating as an option and also features two channel pneumatic shock absorption on the rear axle, which can be controlled from the cab

Lucky Dog

On some models with fixed single beds, this season Knaus is offering a Lucky Dog Camper option. This involves replacing one of the wardrobe doors under the beds with a grille and having a grill over the garage door to provide an area where more than one dog can sleep at night and sit in en route. Knaus says this is safer than using a crate or a harness.

Aguti Premium seats, with integrated seat belts and a multitude of adjustments, are now fitted as standard on all Knaus A-classes. Aguti Exclusive seats, which also feature air cushioning and heating, can be fitted as an optional extra.

Box drive 680ME

Within Knaus van conversions BoxDrive models now come with a Vario washroom with swivelling partition as standard, although you can still order the older more open design as an option. The optional folding bed in the rear has also been replaced by an optional lifting bed that provides more room for storing heavy equipment underneath.

Outside Boxdrive, Knaus’s other van conversions come with a list of new optional extras. These include a SpaceRoof roof extension that provides greater headroom and unobstructed access to the cab, larger framed windows in the rear door, an electric soft-closing door and – on models without a pop-up roof – a solar panel. The Boxlife range now comes with a Matara Teak furniture finish.

Knaus prices for 2022 have mostly gone up between 2% and 4%, although prices on some models have stayed level.
