We’re not quite sure of the origins of this YouTube video dating from 2008, but we stumbled across it the other day and thought it might interest Practical Motorhome readers.

[tl:movies size=470×377]

The three-minute clip shows a Toyota microvan being converted into an ultra-compact motorhome in a matter of minutes by sliding a pre-assembled, self-contained unit, compete with cooking, eating and washing facilities, into the back.

The result isn’t something we’d want to spend more than a couple of nights in, but it looks like an interesting and viable solution for a dual-purpose van/motorhome, but there’s no accompanying information for the clip. Can any shed any light on the video’s origin?
