Practical Motorhome reviews the Snugpak Elite Proximity jacket – will it be the perfect fit?

Unlike the other jackets in this test, the Snugpak is made of a slightly elasticated fabric, which bends and stretches with your movement. This allows for a more snug fit to the jacket, which doesn’t detract from its comfort. Snugpak claims that the flexibility of this material doesn’t impact on its waterproofness, and our test reflected this; although the fabric can absorb water – without letting it through – and becomes heavier as a result. It’s also less breathable than some of the others, and can leave you feeling hot.
