This is your essential guide to the best UK campsites as voted for by you. This year, more of you than ever before got involved and voted for your most loved campsites, little and large, in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, making this our most comprehensive and reliable guide to date. With your votes cast, each and every nomination was reviewed by our experts, before the final, definitive list of the best 100 campsites in the UK right now was compiled. We hope our Top 100 Sites Guide 2015 will prove to be a handy touring companion. And if you'd like to recognise the sterling efforts of your favourite campsite to help it star in our 2016 guide, voting is open now!

We've also delved into each of the regions in our Top 100 Sites Guide 2015 to find the top attractions in each region for you to enjoy this year. It's an extensive round-up of must-see events, so from tall ship racing in Belfast, to plenty of ideas to help you celebrate the Year of Food and Drink Scotland 2015, from a Magna Carta exhibition in Durham Cathedral to Birmingham Cathedral's 300th anniversary, and from Torbay Motor Show in Devon to Cornwall's Port Eliot Festival, get this issue and not only will you discover the UK's best campsites, you'll also have lots of ideas of things to do.

Talking of good sites, this month's cut out and keep Good Sites Guide takes us to the southern reaches of Northumberland. Get the inside line on these campsites in the north east of England, all in striking distance of three national parks and also Hadrian's Wall.

But we're not just in the UK. As we launch our brand new online travel guides, we also bring you ideas for tours in the lovely Languedoc region in the south of France and destinations in Belgium, too.

Also in the May 2015 edition of Practical Motorhome magazine, our Test Editor Mike Le Caplain heads to the Lowdhams dealership in the Midlands to review the Bessacarr Hi-Style 462, one of a collection of dealer specials in this issue. A six-berth based on the 2015 Fiat Ducato with an MTPLM of 4250kg, it has a massive U-shaped end lounge – read more in our latest issue.

Another dealer special we throw the spotlight on this month is another Fiat Ducato-based 'van, the 2014 Swift Lifestyle 664 from Marquis Motorhomes. Featuring a metallic graphite cab and a 2.3-litre 130bhp turbodiesel engine, the beds in this four-berth benefit from Duvalay Duvalite memory foam mattresses, while the sociable lounge accommodates six. Read our verdict in our May 2015 magazine.

Browsing the used motorhomes for sale pages? This month's used 'van buyer's guide looks at the 2007-on Pilote Aventura. Get the lowdown so you know what to look for when checking a prospective purchase and let us help you buy with confidence.

You'll find all this and much more packed into the May issue of Practical Motorhome – let's hope we can kick-start your 2015 touring in style.
