A warm welcome to the new year and we’ve got a brand new TV show for you to get 2015 off to the best possible start. So please remember to tune in to The Motorhome Channel at the times listed at the foot of this article. You’ll find the show on Freesat 402 and Sky 192 (look for Showcase 2), plus every episode is broadcast live online.

Let’s start the new year with A – for Adria. In our latest TV show, Practical Motorhome’s Editor Niall Hampton reviews the Adria Matrix Supreme 687 SBC, which features a new layout and is based on the Renault Master. And as Adria is celebrating its 50th anniversary, the Slovenian manufacturer has thrown a few extras in too, which is great news for buyers, as Niall explains. The front lounge is both smart and spacious, while the Alde underfloor heating helps keep you toasty. However, the real selling point of this ‘van is the rear bedroom and its island bed, which has a large and very useful garage beneath it. There’s also an electrically operated, drop-down double bed. The washroom is very well finished and arranged across the width of the motorhome, which proves to be a very flexible and elegant layout. Get inside this £60,090 OTR ‘van with Practical Motorhome on The Motorhome Channel.

Of course, after A comes B, and you don’t want to miss the Bailey Approach Advance review in our latest TV show – tune in on Sky 192, Freesat 402 or watch live online. The four-model, Peugeot-based Advance range is all new and, again, our Editor Niall’s on hand to guide us round this ‘van. These four Bailey Approach Advance models are the 615, the 635, the 640 and the 665. Here we’re looking at the 640, a four-berth with a French bed at the rear. It’s colourful and well finished inside, plus there are 10 overhead lockers as well as lots of storage space under that fixed rear bed and in the half length wardrobe. Indeed, it’s the attention to detail that really scores points in this motorhome. Watch our Bailey Approach Advance 640 review to find out more. Also, as the new Advance range is debuting at the Caravan and Motorhome Show at EventCity, Manchester, between 15 and 18 January, you can check it out for yourself.

In need of some 2015 touring inspiration? Join Practical Motorhome’s Alastair Clements in France in our latest TV show. He packed the very spacious Bailey Approach Autograph 765 full of kids and kit, and headed for the French capital. At first he pitched at Camping La Croix du Vieux Pont about 40 minutes outside Paris, which had lots for the children to do on site, before moving to Camping International Maisons-Laffitte, on the banks of the Seine and very conveniently placed if you want to visit Paris. Indeed, with trips to the Eiffel Tower and Disneyland Paris, it was a holiday to remember – maybe something you’d like to try this year?

If you tune in to The Motorhome Channel in our latest TV show you’ll also see Andy Harris who’s got a host of motorhome accessories to show you. From a smartphone rescue kit to a 12V espresso maker and an innovative travel map and much more, if you’re looking to update your motorcaravanning kit for 2015, he’s full of ideas.

Plus, we’ve expert motorhome advice from John Wickersham who’s talking weighbridges in our TV programme. Make sure you keep safe when out on the road by not overloading your ‘van. He explains how to find and use weighbridges – tune in and be sure to tour in safety.
