The new Aire is situated at the pretty market town of Vera, a few minutes from the sea and near both beautiful palm-fringed town beaches and stretches of wild coast in the Almeria and Andalucia. From here you can see the rocky Sierra Cabrera mountains.
Wolfgang says, “The province of Almeria has 320 sunny days a year and is the warmest area in Europe, with its nice dry climate; it is called California of Europe.”
Pets are welcome too and there are spacious touring pitches, fresh water, a motorhome service point for waste water, a chemical toilet disposal point and free Wi-Fi, all for €9 per night for the first three days, going down to €8 if you’re staying for longer; €7 a night if you’re staying for more than 30 days. Optional extra daily charges include electric hook-up at €2, car parking at €1, parking a trailer €1, washing machine €3 a load, washing your motorhome with a high pressure hose, €4.
