Demand for its two planned Olympic campsites has resulted in the Camping and Caravanning Club announcing a third site for the summer of 2012: it’ll be located at Westlands Playing Fields in the London Borough of Havering.

Close to Romford rail station, the site will offer good links to the Olympic Park and Stadium – the journey taking just 15 minutes. There’ll be 430 pitches onsite, and good facilities, including toilets, showers, entertainment and catering outlets.

A pitch will cost from £30 per night, based on a three-night stay. The site will run from July 24 to August 20, 2012; it’s open to both members and non-members.

Bookings for this site, and the Club’s two other 2012 sites at Gravesend and Culverstone, are now open: to reserve your pitch, call 024 7647 5426 or 0845 130 7633. You can find out more about the sites by visiting the Club’s 2012 website, by clicking here.
