A new online guide to good-quality campsites across France has launched - it currently lists more than 100 sites, with more being added all the time.

The Frenchcampsites.co website has been created by Andrew and Bernadette Erskine, authors of the comprehensive ABC Campsite Guide 2010 which featured in Practical Motorhome last year. The online guide has details of sites ranging in size from 32 to 800 pitches; each one has been visited by an independent reviewer.

You can search for sites by region, and narrow down the results by selecting the facilities that you require. The website is really easy to use, and free of charge to access, too; there's also a really helpful section giving advice on touring in France.
