French motorhome manufacturing giants Rapido have introduced a new iPhone app designed for both prospective and existing customers.
The app is available for free on Apple’s App Store, and is compatible with the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad – although because it has not been expressly designed for iPad use, it will have to be stretched to fill the larger screen, resulting in a grainy interface. It supports English, French, German and Spanish, even though the previews on the App Store are all in French.
The app serves three main functions – the first is a comprehensive model range browser that allows you to explore Rapido’s entire stable, complete with interior and exterior photos, a list of available equipment options and ‘swatches’ of upholstery patterns. The second function of the app is as a navigation tool to help you locate Rapido dealers and service centres, while the third function is as an aire finder. The app can be downloaded here.
