Highly respected Surrey-based touring caravan specialist Michael Jordan Caravans has moved into motorhome retailing, taking on franchises for new Swift motorhomes as well as a selection of previously owned vehicles. The majority of these will be coachbuilts, we understand.

It’s not the first time the dealership has sold motorhomes. Company boss Michael Jordan told Practical Motorhome:

“We dabbled with motorhomes once before (some eight years ago) but now it’s more serious.”

It’s not the first time the dealership has sold motorhomes. Company boss Michael Jordan told Practical Motorhome:

“We dabbled with motorhomes once before (some eight years ago) but now it’s more serious.”

The move is partly a reaction to demand, but there’s also a geographical reason for the expansion:

“A lot of our customers are considering buying motorhomes but they want to stay with us, and there isn’t another ’van retailer in this area. We’ll have new models from the Swift Group, including the Escape, Sundance and Bolero, and a selection of quality used models which we have recently taken in part-exchange against caravans.”

Michael Jordan Caravans is at Station Approach, Gomshall, Guildford, Surrey GU5 9NX. Tel 01483 203335 or visit www.michaeljordancaravans.co.uk.
