Burrowhayes Farm Caravan Site
Website: www.quantumenterprises.co.uk/burrowhayes

Burrowhayes is a fantastic site for horse-lovers, since it has its very own riding stables. Set on a National Trust farm in the heart of Exmoor, sites don't come much prettier than this.
Treks will take you over the gorgeous Exmoor countryside and through the nearby woods. All ages and levels of experience are catered for. The site is also a walker's paradise: numerous paths lead into the woods and out onto the moors, where red deer and all kinds of different wildlife can be seen.
There is a family atmosphere to this site, run by Julian and Marion Dascombe. The family farmed the land here for 60 years before starting the caravan and motorhome site. Nestled in the valley are 54 spacious pitches, most of which are set on grass and arranged around the perimeter of this exemplary site.
Off site, and within five miles, there is fishing, golf, sailing and all the facilities of nearby Minehead. The village of Porlock is nearby, too, with its beautiful harbour and fishing boats. Further afield are the attractive towns of Lynton and Lynmouth.
 • One mile to Porlock, which features gorgeous views over the Bristol Channel. To the south it's bordered by the undulating hills of the
 • Exmoor National Park, where there are walks, cycle trails, and fishing to enjoy.
