Hoddom Castle Caravan Park
Website: www.hoddomcastle.co.uk

Hoddom Castle Park is a magnificent campsite with an aristocratic air about it as many of the pitches offer a glimpse of majestic Hoddom Castle, a Border keep built in the 16th century. The campsite is set in partially wooded parklands within the castle's vast estate. Most pitches are hardstanding and are arranged along the driveways that wend their way through the park.
The site offers lots of activities, including a nine-hole golf course, fishing, tennis courts and a mountain bike route. A well-stocked shop, a country pub and a restaurant are also among the facilities. There are also miles of fantastic walks to be had in the spectacular local countryside.
 • 17 miles to the impressive and ancient Caerlaverock Castle. It is claimed to be one of the most interesting and attractive in Scotland.
