Set in eight hectares of parkland, south east of Nantes, this four-star site has pitches overlooking a large lake. The long entrance sweeps you along to the reception and information centre, where you will be well looked after.
The pitches are clean, mostly level, grassy, well kept and marked out by hedges with some parts shaded by trees. Concrete roads lead around the two campsite areas and also through the areas where bungalows, chalets, and mobile homes are available to hire.
Ten-amp electric hook-up is available at an extra charge per night, and each pitch has its own water tap.
Out of season, when we visited, this site was quiet and peaceful, although during some weekend evenings the adjacent hall was hired out for functions, and it can be noisy until late.
The site has a small playground for children, volleyball, table tennis, a pé area and tennis court, and two inviting-looking swimming pools with flumes (open from 10am until 8pm daily.) The modern, large, clean sanitary block offers free hot showers, washbasins, sinks in cubicles, toilets, washing machines and kitchen sinks.
In season, the site provides entertainment for children and adults. The numerous nearby sports facilities include many types of water-sport, horse riding, fishing, golf and sailing.
Handily, there is also a bar
and restaurant just outside the campsite entrance.
Security barriers are in operation at the site entrance, which gives peace of mind. A PIN is issued to all guests, on arrival, and this is used to operate the security gate.
This Camping Qualité Group site makes an ideal base from which to visit the nearby town
of Cholet. There is access to the lake and also to Le Grand Parc,
a leisure complex only 12 miles from the campsite.

They also include a special 'night-time garden' which you can visit to relax in a mystical atmosphere. Open 10.30–19.30 Jul and Aug, 14.00–18.00 in other months (closed during Dec and Jan).
