Open All year

This is a tranquil site for those who simply want to experience life in the country, surrounded by sheep and fields. Although it has minimal facilities – no pool, specific children's play area or shop – it is obvious that great care has been taken in the planning and building of the site. The owner and staff are really friendly and work hard at keeping the showers and other facilities immaculately clean and tidy.
The site is located just two miles from the centre of Taunton, which has a castle and museum, and excellent shops, pubs and restaurants. Visitors will appreciate being able to walk into town – alternatively they can take advantage of the excellent cycle path. The local lanes are also very pleasant to explore by bike, but if you are feeling less energetic, there is a bus stop about half a mile away, from where you can catch a bus into the city centre.
Although this is a peaceful site, its proximity to the M5 means that a certain amount of road noise is inevitable. However, this is actually kept to a minimum because the road runs through a fairly deep cutting, so the site remains quiet, yet well-served by a major motorway.
Travelling to the Somerset coast is easy, and visitor attractions such as Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury and Wookey Hole are within easy reach.
