Binghams Farm Touring Park
Website: www.binghamsfarm.co.uk
Open April to October
Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Binghams Farm has everything you need for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. There's an abundance
of trees, shrubs and flowers, while the River Brit provides
the natural boundary on the western edge of this 26-acre site. You can enjoy a gentle stroll along the riverbanks through the scenic Brit Valley.
If you prefer coastal walks then West Bay, with its romantic harbour and dramatic cliffs, is only three miles to the south. It is part of the West Dorset coastline known as the 'Jurassic Coast' because of all the fossils found along its shores and hidden in the cliffs. It's an amazing area that has been designated as a World Heritage Site.
There are few leisure amenities at this adults-only site, but the bustling town of Bridport with its famous Saturday markets, street theatre and band parades, is just two miles away. There
is also a supermarket merely two minutes from the site.
If you want to leave the cooking to someone else, then you can pay a visit to Bingham's Bistro, on the first floor of a converted barn, which offers delicious home-cooked food.
The building also houses the reception, as well as the washing facilities. Overall, this
is a rural idyll that's perfect for adults who want to unwind.
