Bunree Caravan Club Site
Website: www.caravanclub.co.uk
Open March to October

This site boasts the excellent standard of facilities offered by so many Caravan Club sites, but the main reason to come here is the truly outstanding location. On turning into the gates of the site, the views open up to reveal the full expanse of Loch Linnhe – and the surrounding rugged hills – in all their glory. It really is a breathtaking view.
The site is located off the main road just south of Fort William, with a quarter-of-a-mile-long narrow access road leading up to the entrance. With motorcaravanners in mind, private traffic lights have been erected at the narrowest point so that even the largest 'vans can safely negotiate this route.
Many of the pitches are located along the shoreline and enjoy magnificent, uninterrupted views across Loch Linnhe. Others lie semi-elevated in the lee of the steep hills behind, which shield the site from the main road. A few mature trees provide a little shade without being intrusive.
This is a great base from which to discover the Highlands. There is an excellent cycle route just across the loch via the Corran Ferry, and an outing to Ben Nevis is a must. And who can resist a day trip across the former toll bridge to Skye?
It's up to you whether you want to make the most of the great outdoors or simply soak up the magical atmosphere; either way this is a very special site. And if it's a secluded site that you're searching for, then surely Bunree offers the solution.
Silent, wide-open spaces stretch out from your pitch, as you rest amid Scotland's rural beauty.
