Open 1 February–11 November
Lincoln Farm Park is a level and secluded site, sheltered within nine acres of landscaped farmland. When you arrive, an unmistakeable air of tranquility greets you, and you are sure to receive a warm welcome from the friendly staff. The smart reception building is surrounded by established trees and mature shrubs, and doubles as a
well-stocked mini-market.
The shower facilities are in pristine condition, They are heated and you and listen to music while you wash. Self-contained shower cubicles with enclosed washbasins and spacious dressing areas lend an almost domestic feel. The food preparation area is just as good, with microwaves provided.
All of the facilities offered by Lincoln Farm Park are fantastic. The leisure centre has a choice of two indoor pools, with well-chosen lighting and pine panelling to create a relaxing atmosphere. There is also a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Use of these facilities usually costs extra, but there are free swimming sessions twice a day. Outside these times, the facilities can be privately booked (by the hour) for a small extra charge. The superb standard of the
on-site facilities easily justifies the modest fees. But be warned, these facilities result in a popular site so be sure to make your booking well in advance.
The site's 90 pitches are spread across its considerable land, which allows for wide spacing so that couples can remain separate from families. Situated within a mile of the River Thames and close to the Cotswolds and historic city of Oxford, Lincoln Farm is perfect for families seeking an active break as well as for those who want a little peace and quiet. 20 miles to Blenheim Palace (pictured, above).
