Cenarth Falls Holiday Park
Website: www.cenarth-holipark.co.uk
Open 1 March–17 December
This site is located five miles east of Cardigan at Cenarth, a pretty village famous for its fishing coracles – wood-framed, one-man boats that you will still see in use on the nearby River Teifi. Cenarth Holiday Park is well signposted and easy to access from the A484 Carmarthen-to-Cardigan road.
The majority of units on the holiday park are attractively laid-out static caravans, but there is a pleasant, green area that contains 30 pitches, any
of which can be occupied by motorhomes. Rather ingeniously all pitches have either gravel hardstanding or plastic mesh surfaces that allow the grass
to grow. This means they can still be used during bad weather in early or late season.
The facilities here are second to none, a fact underlined by
the site's many awards, which even include 'Loo of the Year'! But there are restrictions on tent sizes, gazebos and the presence of dogs, so it's worth checking before you book. (e.g. pup tents and dogs are not permitted during July and August.)
Cenarth Falls really benefits from its superb new Coracles leisure complex, which boasts
a large indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym. There is also a bar, a restaurant, an (unheated) outdoor swimming pool and live entertainment during the busy peak periods. 35 miles to St Davids Cathedral.
