This site is great for a stopover en route to, or returning from, France. But try a longer stay and explore Kent, the 'Garden of England'. Broadhembury is a friendly site and just the right combination of daytime activity and nightime tranquility. It was recently awarded five stars from the English Tourist Board, and is popular with visitors from abroad, too, which at times lends a Continental atmosphere.
The site is easily found from Junction 10 of the M20 and it is close to the market town of Ashford, and the Eurostar terminal. The site entrance has
a code-operated barrier which provides security and peace of mind when on site.
From Broadhembury, it is possible to visit Paris for the day, via the Eurostar terminal at Ashford International Station. Alternatively, if you fancy some bargain shopping, nip into the McArthur Glen designer outlet, minutes from Ashford town centre. Also just a short drive away is Canterbury and its historic cathedral, and Leeds Castle (along the M20). 27 miles to Leeds Castle.
