A dovecote and Grade II listed barn add a touch of character to this lovely site, but best of all is the feeling of space. Five fields, some of which are slightly sloping, give campers room to spread out. Pitches are arranged around the site's perimeter to provide that little bit of extra privacy.
Picnic tables are dotted around the site, and the four miles of circular walks that run through the surrounding woodland and alongside a babbling brook will keep you enthralled in this rural idyll.
Dogs on leads are welcome here, and are well-catered for thanks to a quarter-mile dog-walk which follows the course of the Sor Brook river.
Children are welcome, too, but there are no designated play areas here.
Facilities include an on-site shop, and a designated caravan/motorhome washing bay that can be booked for a small charge.
Managed under contract from the Caravan Club, this rural site is within easy reach of the Cotswolds and the dreaming spires of Oxford.
